51 34 380 Remove and install/replace frame trim on window frame of rear door (outer) on left or right

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 18 other vehicles, including the 2015 BMW Alpina B7L xDrive, 2015 BMW Alpina B7 xDrive, 2015 BMW 750i xDrive, 2015 BMW 750Li xDrive, and 2015 BMW 740Li xDrive. Special tools required:

Do not scratch or damage visible surfaces.

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove SEAL FOR DOOR GAP / ROOF FRAME .
Remove COVER ON DOOR WINDOW FRAME .

Pull out rubber window seal in the frame trim area on the window border (1) (graphic shows removed status).

Lever out frame trim on window border (1) from the front beginning with special tool 00 9 325 .

Carefully pull off frame trim (1) in outwards direction.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clamps (1).

Installation note:

Only for Saloon vehicle type:

Feed in the frame trim on the window border (1) at the rear correctly behind the window cavity cover strip.
