51 13 400 Removing and installing or replacing rear center trim

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

NOTE: Detaching rear center trim is shown on the left side; proceed in same way for detaching on the right side.

Release nut (1) on rear center trim (2).

Tightening torque 51 13 1AZ .

Unclip plastic clips (1) with rear lid opened.

Remove complete rear center trim (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty plastic clips (1).
