51 48 070 Removing and installing/replacing sound insulation on left or right rear door

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .

With roller sun blind optional extra only:

Remove engine.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 16 20AZ .

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 51 16 19AZ .

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Feed lines out of cable holder (1).

Disconnect plug connection (3) at door lock.

Release quick-connect couplings (2).

Remove sound insulation (4).

Installation:

If necessary, replace cable holders (1).
