51 47 440 Removing and installing/replacing rear carpet on seat pan

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove BOTH FRONT SEATS
Remove REAR SEAT
Remove all entrance cover strips. See REMOVING FRONT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP (INSIDE) and REMOVING REAR DOOR SILL COVER STRIP (INSIDE) .
Remove top/bottom B-pillar trim. See REMOVING TRIM (BOTTOM) and REMOVING TRIM (TOP) .
Remove COMPLETE CENTER CONSOLE .

Feed out rear floor trim panel (1) towards rear/top.

Installation:

Openings (1) serve as alignment points when fitting the rear floor trim panel (2).
