64 11 865 Replacing actuator drive for recirculated air flap (vehicles with N63 engine)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove AUXILIARY ELECTRONICS BOX .
Remove RIGHT/REAR SUSPENSION CROSS-BRACE .

Unlock plug connection (1) on automatic air recirculation control sensor (2) and disconnect.

Release screws (1) on blower housing cover (2).

Lift out blower housing cover.

Release screws (1).

Unclip relay lever (2) with a suitable tool.

Remove actuator drive (3).

Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.

Replacement:

Servomotors must be readdressed in the event of replacement!

Addressing can only be carried out with the BMW diagnosis system.
