Removing center console, refer to 51 16 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ODDMENTS TRAY (Z3 ROADSTER, M ROADSTER, Z3 COUPE, M COUPE)

Removing AIRBAG module on passenger side, refer to AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT .

Removing complete instrument panel, refer to 62 21 000

Unfastening switch for windshield wiper and indicator light from steering column, refer to 61 31 040

Removing light switch, refer to 61 31 028

Removing switch for headlight vertical aim control, refer to 61 31 072

Removing plate for heating control, refer to A/C-HEATER UNIT .

Unfasten left/right screws (1).

Unfasten screws (1) under center of ventilation grill.

Lift out finisher strips (1) and unfasten screws (2).
