51 47 030 Removing and installing/replacing entrance cover strip, rear (inside) left or right

Special Tools Required:

00 9 341

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear seat. Refer to 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING REAR SEAT .

Release screw (1) of entrance cover strip (2).

Insert special tool 00 9 341 at front under cover strip.

Pull out entrance cover strip (2) downwards/forwards.

Lever out clips (1) with pliers (head of pliers surface-ground).

Push clips (2) onto entrance cover strip (1).

Installation:

Following parts of entrance cover strip (1) must not be damaged or missing:

2) Clips.
3) Retaining lug.
4) Guides for clips.
5) Bore.
