51 47 151 Removing and installing/replacing left luggage compartment wheel arch trim

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT ON LEFT .
Remove CAPPING PANEL .
Remove TRIM ON C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM .

Release expander rivets (1).

Unlock retaining tab (3) from lock cover through opening as shown and twist to pull out lock cover in an outward direction.

Lever off cover at lashing eye (5). Release screws underneath. Lay lashing eye (5) to one side.

Use multifunction hook (2) to pull up and remove wheel arch panel (4).

Pull out release lever (6) from cargo cover and remove wheel arch panel (4).

Replacement

Modify multifunction hook.

Modify rubber pull.
