51 47 000 Removing and installing/replacing front (inside) left or right entrance cover strip

Disengage retaining lugs (5) of front sill cover strip (2) from both adjoining panels.

IMPORTANT: Carefully lever out front sill cover strip (2).

Lever out front sill cover strip (2) at front retaining points (3).

Pull back front sill cover strip (2) and feed out of rear retaining points (1).

Position front sill cover strip (2) preinstalled with clips on associated holes and clip into place.

Installation:

The rails of front sill cover strip (2) must not be damaged.

Retaining lugs (3) of front sill cover strip (2) must not be damaged.

If necessary, lever out remaining clips (1) in floor panel.

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Slide clips (1) into rails of front sill cover strip (2).
