16 12 010 Removing and installing/replacing carbon canister (M Roadster, M Coupe and Z3/USA): Notes

Open hose clip (1) and pull off evaporation line.

Installation:

Replace hose clip.

Unfasten plastic nut (1).

Unfasten hexagon bolt (2) and take off clamping strap (3).

Carefully lower the activated carbon canister.

Actuate unlocking fixture (2) and pull off vent line (1).

Unclip the tank vent line (1) and the vent line (2) on the front side of the activated carbon canister.
