Transmission oil for BMW manual transmissions manufactured AFTER 09/1997

- The yellow label with the lettering "MTF-LT-1" is located close to the oil filler plug.
- The green label with the lettering "MTF-LT-2" is located close to the oil filler plug.
- The blue label with the lettering "MTF-LT-3" is located close to the oil filler plug.
NOTE:
MTF-LT-1 is replaced by MTF-LT-2 and is also suitable for MTF-LT-1 specification transmissions. These transmissions require no oil change for their entire service life. After a repair on the transmission, the specified lifetime oil should be used.
