Necessary preliminary work

Remove GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF COVER AT REAR .
Remove FRONT WATER CHANNEL .

Open floating headlining (2) to the point where the screws (1) are accessible.

Release screws (1) on floating headlining holder.

IMPORTANT: Do not damage floating headlining rocker arm.

Pull tension springs (2) out from under floating headlining holder (1).

Press floating headlining (1) upward in the direction of the arrow.

Pull glider set (2) out of guide rail.

Installation note:

Observe GREASE INSTRUCTIONS for replacement parts.

Installation note:

Version with spring on one side:

Tension springs (1) must rest correctly in recess of rear floating headlining (2).

On left side, ensure that washer (4) with anti-twist lock is in the right position.

Right side: insert white plastic washers.

Version with springs on both sides:

Replace microencapsulated screws.

Tightening torque 54 12 05AZ .
