52 26 311 Removing and installing/replacing lock for left or right rear seat backrest

Gently slide lock trim (1) on side edge of backrest downwards and unclip to one side.

Gently slide lock trim (1) on rear side towards middle and unclip.

Remove lock trim (1).

Installation: 

Retaining lugs on trim must not be damaged.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

Insert plastic wedge from outside between trim (1) and lock.

Carefully lever outer side of trim (1) with plastic wedge upwards out of catch.

Lever inner side of trim (1) with plastic wedge out of catch.

Remove trim upwards.

Lever out backrest cover (1) in working area.

Release screws and feed lock (1) out of rear seat backrest.

Tightening torque 52 26 07AZ .
