Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove REAR LIGHTS ON SIDE PANEL on left/right

Lever out cover (1) and release screw underneath.

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Release screw (1).

Bend wheel arch trim (2) in area (A) to one side.

Unscrew bolt (3).

Release screws (1 to 3).

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

IMPORTANT: Do not detach bumper trim (3) at sides (risk of damage).

Press bumper trim (3) at point (1) downwards and at same time pull at point (2) in direction of arrow towards rear and top, thereby releasing from the catches.

Version with PDC:

Disconnect plug connection for ultrasonic transducers.

Remove bumper trim (1) towards rear with aid of a 2nd person.

Installation:

Catches on bumper trim (1) must not be damaged.
