Necessary preliminary tasks

E83 only:

Remove window cavity cover strip on outside of front door

Partially detach rubber window seal (1) at rear.

Release screws (1).

Remove finisher (2) and press approx. 3 mm towards rear.

Remove trim (1) towards top.

Installation:

Following parts must not be damaged or missing:

Plastic nuts
Sound insulation
Seal
