64 11 212 Removing and installing/replacing heater/air conditioner fan

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove TRIM FOR INSTRUMENT PANEL , bottom right
Partially release air duct at side

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Carefully raise lug (1) and feed out housing (2) by turning clockwise.

Installation:

Lug (1) must not be damaged and must snap audibly into place.

Replacement:

Replace CONTROLLER FOR HEATER/AIR CONDITIONER FAN
