Necessary preliminary tasks

- Check compliance with TEST CONDITIONS , bring vehicle to a stop if necessary.
- Version with air spring system: Carry out ride-height calibration
- Check vehicle interior and luggage compartment (incl. luggage compartment recess) for load, unload vehicle if necessary
- Introduce DIN load (refer to 31 00 FRONT AXLE - RIDE HEIGHT E90/E91/AWD ) into vehicle
- Determine vehicle ride height. See 31 33 095 MEASURING RIDE-LEVEL HEIGHT OF VEHICLENOTE: If the vehicle ride height is not inside the tolerance (refer to Technical Data . See REAR AXLE - RIDE HEIGHT E90, E91/AWD ; REAR AXLE - RIDE HEIGHT E91 or FRONT AXLE - RIDE HEIGHT E90, E91/AWD ), the vehicle must be repaired (coil spring/leakage).
