54 12 138 Removing and installing/replacing rain gutter for glass slide/tilt sunroof

Necessary preliminary tasks 

NOTE: If activating the function when removed:
  • It is essential to ensure that the slide of rain gutter (1) is situated ahead of connecting element (2).
  • If the slide of rain gutter (1) is situated below the connecting element, this will result in a collision and damage.

Lever connecting element (2) on left and right out of rain gutter linkage (1).

Installation: 

Linkage must be felt to snap into place in connecting element.

Unclip linkage of rain gutter (1) on left and right out of connecting element slide (2) towards rear.

IMPORTANT: Carry out function check only with rain gutter fitted (risk of damage).
