61 61 250 Replacing windshield wiper motor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

CAUTION: Connect vehicle wiring harness after mounting new windshield wiper motor to mounting bracket for windshield wiper system.

Then run windshield wiper motor into rest position.

Secure motor crank (1) against rotating and release nut (2).

Tightening torque, 61 61 4AZ. Refer to GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Lever off motor crank (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Position motor crank (1) on shaft in such a way that it forms a line with drive rod (2) on passenger side.

Turn plug connection (1) and unclip.

Loosen screws (2).

Tightening torque, 61 61 1AZ. Refer to GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Remove windshield wiper motor (3) from mounting bracket for windshield wiper system.
