51 12 160 Removing and installing/replacing rear lower bumper trim

Release screw (1) and expansion rivets (2) on left/right.

Release screws (1).

Unclip and remove lower bumper trim (2) completely from bumper (3).

Installation: 

All catches, from (1) left to (1) right, of lower bumper trim (2) must not be damaged.

Replacement only: 

Release blind rivets (1) on left/right.

Remove thermal insulation (2) on left/right.

Release blind rivet (1) on left/right and (2).

Remove mounting (3) with trim (4) for rear muffler.

Release blind rivets (1).

Remove mounting (2) from trim (3) for rear muffler.
