51 21 225 Removing and installing/replacing inner door opener on left or right front door

CAUTION: To avoid damaging the leather trim and the door opener recess, pull off the door trim panel before removing the front door. Refer to 51 41 000 Removing and installing left or right front door trim panel .

Unlock and unhook Bowden cable (1).

Press lock (2) on handle recess (3).

Remove handle recess (3) from door trim panel.

Installation:

During installation, press release lever fully onto handle recess.
