Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove tension strut if necessary.
Lower exhaust system in rear area. See 1800 EXHAUST SYSTEM, COMPLETE (328xi E90) , EXHAUST SYSTEM, COMPLETE (328xi E92/93) , EXHAUST SYSTEM - REPAIR (328xi E91) or EXHAUST SYSTEM, COMPLETE (335xi) .
