51 16 400 Removing and installing/replacing roller sunblind on fixed side window of left or right rear door

Extend the roller sunblind (2).

Unclip the window guide cover (1).

Unclip the cam arm (1) from the roller sunblind (2).

Installation note:

Attach the cam arm (1) and secure with bolts.

Check function.

Pull the protective film off the adhesive tape (1) of the new sunblind cloth.

Completely roll out the sunblind cloth (2).

Clean the rod.

Set the new sunblind cloth (1) inside exactly matching onto the defective sunblind cloth (2).

Retract both sunblind cloths together slowly in two turns.

Completely extend the new sunblind cloth (1).

Pull off the defective sunblind cloth (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

The sunblind cloth (1) must run behind the lug (2).
