51 16 000 Removing and installing or replacing mirror on left or right front door

Unclip triangular mirror section trim (1).

Protect door trim panel as pictured with adhesive tape (1) in work area.

Raise door seal (2) slightly.

Release screws (3), feed out mirror and disconnect associated plug connection.

Tightening torque 51 16 1AZ .

Installation note:

Following parts of mirror must not be damaged or missing:

Seal on mirror base plate
Sound insulation in front door

Check function.
