51 21 170 Removing and installing or replacing outside handle from left or right front door

Operations on right side analogous to left side shown. Use graphics in a mirror-inverted way.

Lever out plug (1).

Installation note: 

If necessary, fit new plug.

Release clamping bolt (2) from carrier for outside door handle (3).

Guide rear of outside door handle (1) out in direction of arrow.

Swivel outside door handle (1) further in direction of arrow and guide out at front.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
