Necessary preliminary work

Remove oil filter cover with oil filter (1) with special tool 11 9 240 .

Tightening torque: 11 42 1AZ .

Release bolt (1). Remove oil pipes (2) from oil filter housing.

Release holders of supply/return lines on oil sump

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque: 11 41 1AZ .

Release screws in area of line (1).

Tightening torque 11 13 2AZ .

Release screws (2) on transmission end 24 00 1AZ .

Remove upper oil sump section (3).

Installation note:

Free sealing surfaces of seal debris and clean.

Replace gasket.

Modify oil pressure switch if replacing oil sump.

Assemble engine.
