11 61 056 Replacing sealing flange for left or right intake air manifold (S62)

Remove and install intake air manifold, refer to 11 61 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE AIR MANIFOLD (S62) .

Release hose clamps (1).

Remove sealing flange (2).

Installation:

Coat sealing surfaces (1) with anti-friction rubber coating (e.g. petroleum jelly).

Installation:

When installing, make sure sealing flange is correctly seated.

Uneven sealing flange surface indicates incorrect installation.
