61 31 342 Removing and installing/renewing gear selector switch: Notes

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove GEAR SELECTOR SWITCH COVER .

Release screws (1).

Take off gear selector switch (2) from center console (3).

Unlock and disconnect corresponding connector.
