33 41 151 Replacing left or right wheel bearing on rear axle shaft

IMPORTANT: Do not damage multi-pole impulse ring.

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove DRIVE FLANGE FOR REAR AXLE SHAFT .
Remove TOE ARM FROM WHEEL CARRIER .

NOTE:

Check brake pads and replace if necessary!

Release screws.

Tightening torque 33 41 2AZ .

Remove wheel bearing.

Installation note:

Replace screws.

Installation note:

Keep contact surface (1) of wheel bearing and wheel carrier clean and free from oil and grease.

After installation:

Adjust PARKING BRAKE
Activate and fill air spring system
