84 11 510 Removing And Installing/Replacing Eject Box (V Series Cellular Telephone)

If necessary, remove telephone from eject box.

Remove center console. Refer to 51 16 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTER CONSOLE .

Unclip plug connections (1).

Release screws (2) and remove bracket (3).

Release cable straps and remove wiring harness (4) from guides.

Installation: 

Ensure correct cable routing.

Loosen screws (1).

Remove armrest (2).

Loosen screws (1).

Feed out cover (2) on lock and lift off.

Drive out pins (1) in direction of arrow.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Lever out covers (2) and feed out wiring harness (3).

Remove interface for telephone (4).

Installation: 

Ensure correct cable routing.

Move function carrier in direction of arrow as far as it will go.

Unlock retaining hook.

Remove connecting cable for telephone from guides.

Move eject box (1) in direction of arrow and remove.
