65 50 010 Removing and installing/replacing video module for on-board monitor

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317

Necessary preliminary tasks:

• Remove luggage compartment floor trim, refer to 51 47 101 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL
• Remove spare wheel
• If necessary, release air supply unit and place to one side

Release screw (1) and nuts (4). Remove rail (2) and both pull straps.

Remove cover for multifunction tray (5).

Release screws (1).

Release screws (1) and raise control unit holder (2).

Remove control unit holder (1) and disconnect all associated plug connections. Slacken nut (2) and remove radio module (3).

Press back retaining tabs (1).

Insert special tool 00 9 317 between video module (1) and holder (2) and lever out in upward direction.
