Version with rain sensor.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove inside rearview mirror. Refer to 51 16 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR .

Pull out retaining clips (2) in each case in direction of arrow and remove.

Unclip rain sensor (3) at bottom in direction of arrow.

Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove rain sensor (3).

Installation:

Do not damage optical element below rain sensor (3).

If necessary, initialize rain sensor.
