51 33 000 Removing and installing power window regulator in left or right front door

Remove door window glass. See 51 32 170 Removing And Installing/Replacing Door Window Glass, Front Left Or Right .

Remove speaker in front door. See 65 12 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SPEAKER .

Release nuts (1) and feed rear section (2) of window regulator out of front door.

Unhook cable (3) from clip (4).

Lever out foam (5) and release nut underneath.

Disconnect plug connection (6) if necessary.

Release nuts (7).

Installation:

Tightening torque, see 51 33 2AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Feed rear section of window regulator (1) with drive mechanism (2) out of front door.

Only replacement:

Release screws (1) and detach drive mechanism (2) from window regulator (3).
