17 11 040 Removing and installing/replacing thermostat cartridge for transmission oil cooling E53 / M62: Notes

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, this work step is shown on a removed mounting plate.

Release clips (1) and disconnect plug connections of coolant hoses.

Release screw (2).

Remove thermostat for transmission oil cooling (3).
