11 62 060 Removing and installing/replacing left exhaust manifold (M62/N62): Notes

(Cylinder bank 5 to 8)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove reinforcement plate. See FRONT AXLE SUPPORT
- Remove exhaust system. See EXHAUST SYSTEM - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
- Remove front propeller shaft. See PROPELLER SHAFT - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
NOTE:
Illustration with engine removed.
Release screw connection at exhaust manifold.
Feed out exhaust manifold towards bottom.
