63 21 057 Replacing a socket housing for left or right rear light (on rear lid)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left or right cover from rear lid trim panel, see 51 49 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR REAR LID
NOTE:
For purposes of clarity, rear lid trim panel is shown removed.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Turn socket housing for tail light/adaptive brake light force display (2) in direction of arrow and pull out of rear light (3).
Remove bulb , see 63 99 201 Replacing halogen bulb for left or right front fog lamp .
Installation:
Make sure socket housing for tail light/adaptive brake light force display (2) is correctly seated and engaged on rear light (3).
