51 16 227 Removing and installing/replacing trim on center console at side left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove side decorative trim from center console, see 51 16 225 Removing and installing/replacing decorative trim on center console on left or right .
NOTE:
Driver's seat removed for purposes of clarity.
Lever trim (1) with a suitable tool out of center console.
Feed out trim (1) in area (3) towards rear.
Installation:
Replace faulty retainers (2).
Feed in trim (1) first in area (3), then press down in direction of center console.
