51 47 030 Removing and installing/replacing rear (inside) left or right entrance cover strip

Special tools required:

00 9 317 , see 00 9 317 TRIM PANEL WEDGE .

Detach mucket (1) in area of entrance cover strip (2).

Using special tool 00 9 317 , detach entrance cover strip (2) from retainers (3) and clips (4) in upward direction.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty retainers (3).

If necessary, release clips (4) from vehicle.

Installation:

Lugs (1) must not be damaged or missing.

If necessary, fit missing or faulty clips (2) on entrance cover strip (3).

Fit entrance cover strip (3) with preinstalled clips (2).
