Removal & Installation

Remove center console storage compartment. See CENTER CONSOLE. Remove lower section of steering column trim. See LOWER SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN TRIM  .

Release screw (1) and remove trim. See Fig 1 .

Release screw (1) and disconnect cable on interlock. See Fig 2 .

Release retaining tab and remove cable from ignition switch by turning. See Fig 3 .

Disconnect cable from trim lug and remove. See Fig 4 . After completing tasks, adjust cable. See INTERLOCK CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
