Removal & Installation (Standard Steering Wheel)

Comply with safety regulations. Improper handling may trigger the airbag and thus cause serious injury. Disconnect battery and cover negative pole on terminal. Release screws with Torx heads (1) on left and right. See Fig 1 . During installation, tighten screws to specification. Do not pinch wires. Screws remain on the steering wheel without being lost.
Remove airbag module (1) from steering wheel. Release locking elements (2) of connectors and unplug connectors (3). Remove airbag. Lay airbag unit with impact pad facing upwards (luggage compartment) only.
