52 26 303 Removing and installing/replacing actuator for left or right rear seat backrest (through-loading system)

Special tools required: 

See MAINTENANCE AND GENERAL INFORMATION - SPECIAL TOOLS .

Unclip Bowden cable (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Unlock catch (3) to center of vehicle and at same time unclip actuator (4) towards bottom.

If necessary, unclip actuator (4) with special tool 00 9 317  .

Installation: 

Catches (1) and (2) of actuator (3) must not be damaged.

Bowden cable (4) must be correctly engaged in actuator (3).
