23 11 614 Replacing guide tube for clutch release unit (GS6-53BZ) (S85/S65)

NOTE: (transmission removed)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove clutch release bearing and release lever from guide tube. See 21 51 500 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING/LEVER .

Release screws.

Remove guide tube (1).

IMPORTANT: Guide tube is coated with Teflon and must not be greased.

Installation:

Clean thread.

Install screws with Loctite 243.

Tightening torque 23 11 2AZ , see 11 HOUSING WITH COVER .
