61 12 002 Replacing battery positive lead (from battery to luggage compartment connector) (Coupe/Convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove battery

Release screws (1). Remove battery holder (2) from body.

Unclip cap (1) and release nut underneath. Tightening torque, see 61 12 1AZ in 61 12 AUXILIARY CABLE . Release cable ties (2) and disconnect battery positive lead (3).

WARNING: Risk of short circuits!

During installation, make sure battery positive lead (3) is correctly screwed and seated on luggage compartment connector.
