72 11 021 Removing and installing/replacing left or right seat belt (reel)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove PANEL FOR DOOR POST .
Remove outer trim on front seat. See BASIC/ELECTRIC SEAT or COMFORT SEAT .

NOTE: Version with anchor fitting tensioner for driver's seat only.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque: see 5AZ in 72 11 SEAT BELTS .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: see 3AZ in 72 11 SEAT BELTS .

Remove belt guide (2).

Unscrew bolt (3).

Tightening torque: see 3AZ in 72 11 SEAT BELTS .

Remove belt (4).

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque: see 1AZ in 72 11 SEAT BELTS .

Remove automatic reel (3).

Installation:

Coding (2) of automatic reel must be seated in body opening.

Retaining screw (1) locates automatic reel in position.
