24 00 018 Adjusting gear lever (parking lock emergency release)

NOTE:
Check cable for ease of movement.
Move gear selector switch to "P" position.
Control for emergency release must not be actuated.
Move gear selector switch to "P" position.
Control for emergency release must not be actuated.
Unfasten nut.
Tightening torque 25 16 10AZ . See GEAR SHIFT MECHANISM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
Remove cable (1).
Installation:
Adjust cable
- Release nut
- Adjust cable by means of holder (2)
- Spacing A = 1.5 mm
