11 23 010 Removing and installing/replacing vibration damper (N62/N62TU)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove alternator drive belt
Remove A/C compressor drive belt
Remove fan cowl . See 17 11 035 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FAN COWL WITH ELECTRIC FAN (N62, N62TU)

Release bolts and remove vibration damper (1).

Installation:

Vibration damper is secured on hub with an alignment pin (4).

Installation:

Fit bore (2) in vibration damper (1) on alignment pin in hub.

Fit disk (3).

Replace screws.

Tightening torque, see 11 23 3AZ in VIBRATION DAMPER .
