51 47 101 Removing and installing/replacing luggage compartment floor trim panel

Version up to build date 04/2005: 

Lift handle (1) and remove luggage compartment floor trim panel (2).

Version from build date 04/2005: 

Open luggage compartment floor trim panel.

Disengage gas-filled struts at top left and right.

  1. Push retainer spring to end of gas-filled strut.
  2. Detach gas-filled strut from ball head.

Close luggage compartment floor trim panel.

Remove FRONT PANEL FOR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR .

Release screws (1) and lift out luggage compartment floor trim panel (2).

Installation: 

Slide luggage compartment floor trim panel (2) forwards and secure screws (1) in this position.

Engage gas-filled struts, check position and function of luggage compartment floor trim panel (2).

If necessary, release screws (1) and reposition luggage compartment floor trim panel (2).
