51 43 251 Removing and installing/replacing trim panel for rear left or right roof pillar (C-pillar, rear)

Disconnect battery.

IMPORTANT: Do not use any sharp-edged tools to remove trim (risk of damage to head airbag).

Lever out trim (1) and remove.

Release screw (2) underneath, tightening torque 51 43 1AZ .

Unclip catches (3) on trim panel for roof pillar (2) and remove trim panel for roof pillar (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Catches (1) on trim panel for roof pillar (2) must not be damaged.
