54 10 035 Replacing the gate for the slide/tilt sunroof at the rear left and right

When removing and installing the gate for the rear slide/tilt sunroof, also note the interactive 3-D instructions. It provides additional information to the applicable repair instructions, although it does not replace them.
Necessary preliminary work:
NOTE:
Glass slide/tilt sunroof panel must be in the closed position.
Press front side of gate (1) outwards (A).
Installation note:
Gate (1) must be fully fitted in the rail. Front section of gate (1) must move to the side in the rail.
Pull gate (1) upwards (B) on front out of rail.
Press gate (1) forwards until it fully slips out of the rear of the operating slides.
Remove gate (1) upwards (C).

Observe GREASING INSTRUCTIONS for replacement parts.
