54 12 270 Removing and installing/replacing actuator for glass slide/tilt sunroof lid on left/right

Remove GLASS SUNROOF LID .

Close glass sunroof lid (zero setting).

Unhook lever (2) from actuator (1).

Installation: 

Locking catches (1) of lever (2) must not be damaged.

Installation: 

When glass sunroof is in zero position, the marking (1) on the actuator must be positioned over the marking (2) on the slide.

If necessary, move the actuator or the slide.

Move glass sunroof lid into "raise position".

Pull actuator (3) and carriage (1) together towards rear until the actuator (3) can be disengaged from the slide (2).

Grip the slide (2) firmly in the process.

Turn the actuator (1) upwards.

Disengage the actuator (1) from the carriage (2).
